Electricity Corporation is preparing to register an FIR against the dismissed tender worker Saeedullah alias Bablu in Durgabari sub-station due to serious financial irregularities. This matter came to light when Sub Engineer of Surajkund area Bhartendu Chaubey lodged a complaint in Tiwaripur police station.

Complaint of female consumer increased seriousness The complaint was initiated by a female consumer from Surajkund, who alleged that Sayeedullah took Rs 28,000 from her in the name of PD, but did not complete the work. On receiving information about this matter, Executive Engineer Atul Raghuvanshi started an investigation, in which the allegations were verified. Based on the investigation, tenderer Saeedullah was dismissed by his employing organization, World Class Services Limited, with immediate effect.
Controversial video went viral on social media Meanwhile, a video of Sayeedullah went viral on social media, in which he is seen taking notes of Rs 500 each. It is alleged that he collected Rs 1.25 lakh from a consumer of Takiya Kavaldah on the pretext of getting the connection PD done and getting a new connection. When the matter reached Chief Engineer Ashutosh Srivastava, he ordered a thorough investigation into the entire matter. After this, the JE lodged a formal complaint against Saeedullah at Tiwaripur police station.
Need for strict action against corruption Now after registering the FIR by the Electricity Corporation, the police can take strict action against Saeedullah. The case has further highlighted the need to take strict action against corruption in the electricity department.
