There was an atmosphere of hustle and bustle in the markets of Hardoi. In the evening, Lakshmi-Ganesh was worshiped in every house during Mahalakshmi Puja Muhurat. People also reached their establishments for worship and worshiped their favorite deities. After this the houses and streets were decorated with lamps and candles.
The entire district was illuminated with attractive fireworks. Colorful fireworks were a sight to behold in the sky throughout the night. People congratulated each other by giving sweets and gift packs. There was a huge crowd of devotees in the temples. People were seen visiting each other’s homes and sharing Diwali wishes by sending messages on mobiles.
Sales of sweets and gifts were at their peak in the markets, and everyone enjoyed Diwali with full enthusiasm.
