A private hospital in Manjhanpur police station area of Kaushambi is accused of pretending to treat the patient even after his death by keeping him in the ICU and collecting money in the name of treatment. The deceased Sonia Devi, who was a resident of Mohinuddinpur Bela village.

After the accident, he was first treated at Manjhanpur Medical College. After his condition seemed normal there, the family admitted him to a private hospital, New Tejmati Hospital, for better treatment.
The family alleges that the hospital declared Sonia Devi as critical and admitted her to the ICU. No family member was allowed to meet him for two days from Diwali. The doctors collected Rs 1.5 lakh from the family by continuously saying that the patient’s condition was critical.
Filed a complaint against the hospital
On Friday, when the family insisted on meeting the mother, the hospital imposed a condition of depositing another Rs 30,000. When the family went inside after depositing the money, they found that Sonia Devi was dead. His body was stiff.
The angry family took help from the police and filed a complaint against the hospital. The police have taken the body into their custody and sent it for post-mortem. After the report comes, it has been said that action will be taken against the accused doctors.
