Police reached the spot, took possession of the body and sent it for post-mortem. When the police informed the family about the incident over phone, there was chaos in the house. It is said that Secretary Prempal Singh has left behind his wife, a son and a daughter. His brother-in-law Sanjeev Kumar told the media that Prempal Singh had gone from home to perform cowshed puja. This accident happened while coming from there.
The police have taken the body into their custody and sent it for post-mortem.
