Ignoring traffic rules in Jaunpur is now proving costly. Celebrating November as Traffic Month, the police has issued challan to 528 vehicles. Under this campaign being run on the instructions of SP Dr. Ajay Pal Sharma, people were asked to stop at the main intersections and intersections of the city.

Under the leadership of Shukla, policemen worked to spread awareness about traffic rules at major intersections of the city. Along with explaining the importance of helmets and seat belts to the people, it was also warned that strict action will be taken against those who park vehicles unauthorized on the roadside or create jams.
Police strictness against violators The traffic police also made repeated announcements through loudspeakers, asking two-wheeler drivers to wear helmets, use seat belts and not have more than three passengers on the bike. Apart from this, an appeal was also made not to drive at high speed and not to use black film. The police immediately removed those violating the rules and removed black film from many vehicles. Amidst the strict attitude of the traffic police, challans have been issued to 528 vehicles for violating rules. Police have warned that such strictness will continue during the traffic month.
