Troubled by the city’s poor sanitation system, the Municipal Corporation will buy 10 robots. So that better cleanliness can be achieved in small areas and streets. These can also help in cleaning the drain. The Municipal Corporation has completed preparations in this regard.

Municipal Commissioner Inderjit Singh said that one robot each will be given in all eight zones. Two will be kept in reserve. Which will be sent to different areas as per the need. So that the cleanliness system of the city can be improved.
It was agreed to buy 20 robots
In the Municipal Corporation Executive meeting, it was agreed to purchase 20 robots. After that the tender process for 10 has been started. It is expected that the vehicles will arrive within 15 days. Due to its small size the robot will be able to move easily to such places.
Through these, there is very little dust generated while collecting garbage, which will not cause any problem to the people nearby.

Councilors often complain about cleanliness in the city. Recently there was an uproar in the House also. During that time, it was alleged that due to door to door garbage collection, cleaning work on the roads in the city could not be done. Only after that the Mayor had given assurance to improve it.
