For the first time, a 13 kilometer long river front is being built. Special focus has been given on security in this Kumbh Mela. The entire fair has been divided into 25 sectors and on this basis a total of 56 police stations and 144 check posts will be created.

The number of civil police in this will be 18479. 1378 women policemen will be deployed. The number of traffic policemen will be 1405. The number of armed policemen will be 1158. There will also be mounted police in the fair. Their number has been fixed at 146. There will be 230 policemen attached to the transport branch. 340 water police will be deployed at Sangam and surrounding ghats. 13,965 home guards will also be deployed. 510 LIU personnel will be deployed to prevent any kind of anarchy or conspiracy in the fair. 22,998 policemen were deployed in the 2013 Mahakumbh. 27,550 policemen were deployed in the 2019 Ardh Kumbh.

Testing of devotees will start as soon as they leave home What will be the layer of security? Where will the devotees be tested? To find out all this, we reached the office of the Senior Superintendent of Police in Sangam area itself. We met Kumbh Mela PRO Bhaskar Mishra. He says that there will be a total of 7 layers of security. The first chakra from where they will emerge is called the point of origin. The second checking will be of trains, buses and private vehicles. The third checking will take place on the border of UP. The fourth checking will be done at the toll plaza and the boundaries of the zone. The fifth checking will take place after reaching the limits of Prayagraj Commissionerate. The sixth checking will take place outside the fair. Inside the seventh checking fairway, it is called checking on the inner and isolation cardan.

We asked who will be made in-charge of the 56 police stations and posts that are being built? Bhaskar Mishra says, among those who will be made in-charge of these police stations, no one will be from Prayagraj Commissionerate. It is not necessary that he be the police station chief. He may be on some other post, he may get charge of the police station here. After the fair is over, he will be sent back to his original post. However, a lot of decisions in this will be taken by the high command.

Drone monitoring for the first time under water In this Maha Kumbh, there will be monitoring not only from the sky through drones, but there will also be drones under water. For the first time, deep barricading will be done for 8 kilometers inside the river for underwater safety. Security arrangements in Sangam area have been handed over to Water Police and PAC. PAC will conduct many experiments regarding underwater safety. For the first time, surveillance will be done even under water using drones. Sonar radio waves will be used for this.

An officer associated with the water police says, this time 25 water scooter brigades will be deployed in the river. If anyone drowns, they will reach him immediately. Two floating rescue stations will be built near Sangam and VIP Ghat. Some more hi-tech boats and steamers will be present at this station. First aid to a drowning person will also be given here.

In Mahakumbh, Sangam Nose, Ganga and Yamuna will be monitored through underwater drones.

The entire fair area will be equipped with anti-drone system For the safety of about 40 crore devotees coming from India and abroad, the security plan is being made at high technology level through high security agencies. Considering the dangers of drones across the world, this time the focus is also on drone attacks. There is still an alert of terrorist shadow on Mahakumbh. In such a situation, this time preparations are already being made regarding the anti-drone system.

Anti-drone system is an important aspect in the security plan of Mahakumbh. UP Police does not have this technology. In such a situation, a security plan has been prepared and its proposal has been sent to the Central Government. The Mahakumbh team has sent the proposal to the Yogi government from where it has been sent to the Center for its approval and requirements.

There will be no darkness in Kumbh even if the lights go off Electricity is going to play an important role in making Mahakumbh look grand. Therefore, this time the electricity budget has been kept at Rs 391.04 crore. 1532 km long line will be drawn. It will have 1405 km long LT and 138 km long HT line. 67 thousand street lights will be installed throughout the Kumbh. High mast will be installed separately at prominent places. 85 temporary new power houses will be built in the entire fair area. There will be a total of 170 sub-stations. 85 DG sets, 15 RMUs and 42 new transformers will be installed.

At this time the work of pulling the wire has started. The entire system of the electricity department has been kept in the fair area itself. All the officers sit here. On reaching there it was revealed that this time a total of 4 lakh 71 thousand people will be given electricity connections in the fair. This will include government offices and people living in Kalpavas. If for some reason there is a power failure in the fair, there will be no darkness. Because there are preparations to install a total of 2004 hybrid solar lights at major places. These will be charged during the day and will enhance the beauty of Kumbh at night.

Preparations to immediately reunite those who got separated at the fair The biggest fear of those coming to Mahakumbh is that they will get separated. How will we meet if we get separated? This time the administration has drawn up a plan to meet the people immediately. A total of 10 lost and found centers are to be set up in the fair. Earlier it used to be announced that such and such a person is lost, come here and meet his family. This facility will still be there but now the system has also been made online.

The fair area is very large, so treat it that way. If a person got lost and went 2-3 kilometers away. Then it is possible that Mike’s voice may not reach the lost and found center where his family members have reached. He may have reached some other lost and found centre. Now if a lost person goes to the lost and found centre, his details are sent to every centre. A screen will be installed in which the person will be visible. If there is any problem even after that then the help of social media will be taken.

President Draupadi Murmu will participate in one program of these mega events and PM Narendra Modi will participate in two events. SK Yadav further says, if the word tourism is added then it is natural that business and economic benefits will also be there. Local traders also get a lot of benefit from it. All those facilities which are available in any metro city are available inside the Kumbh.
