On Sunday evening, two youths got buried due to mud collapse in a well in Amir Nagar area of Lakhimpur. This incident happened when they were taking out bricks from a boring well in the field. At the time of the incident, the third youth standing outside the well started screaming, due to which people nearby gathered.

Police post Ameer Nagar in-charge Satish Dwivedi immediately reached the spot and started the rescue operation by calling a JCB. The hand of a young man buried in the soil was seen, which was immediately taken out and sent to the hospital.
It took about two hours to rescue the second youth. When he was taken out of the JCB, he was sent to CHC Mohammadi, but the doctors there declared him dead.
the well suddenly filled up According to the information received, Idris son of Wahidullah and Rafaytullah son of Sarfu were taking out bricks from the well built in the field of Amir Nagar resident Bahidullah Khan. Suddenly the well filled up and sat down. Both the youths got buried in it. The administration and police arrived on the information of the person standing outside and immediately called laborers and removed the soil.
One died during treatment In which one person, Idris son of Wahidullah, has been taken out. Which has been sent to CHC Mohammadi with the help of ambulance. The second person, Rafaytullah, was searched and rescued after much effort. He was sent to Community Health Center Mohammadi for treatment. Where the doctors declared him dead.
