In Ballia, District Magistrate Praveen Kumar Lakshkar has taken strict action against the officers who remained absent during the Sampoorna Samadhan Diwas. He has ordered to stop the salaries of 14 district level officers including the Chief Medical Officer.

This decision was taken when the District Magistrate expressed displeasure over the absence of officers during the hearing of public complaints in Tehsil Sikandarpur.
Strict instructions given to officials
The District Magistrate directed the concerned officers to dispose of the complaints in a quality and timely manner. He also ordered to send a joint team of revenue and police to the spot for revenue related complaints. This makes it clear that the District Magistrate will not tolerate any laxity in this matter.

A total of 124 complaints were received during the Sampoorna Samadhan Diwas, out of which 5 were resolved on the spot. The complaints included issues related to pension, land disputes, Prime Minister’s residence, ration, roads, drains, illegal encroachment, shares, consolidation and road construction. The District Magistrate directed all the officers to take these complaints seriously and ensure prompt disposal.
