There has been a fatal attack on Gaurav Janghala, the Divisional General Secretary of the non-political Bharatiya Kisan Union (BKU) in Bijnor. The attackers opened fire on Gaurav, injuring him.

The incident took place on Monday in Swahedi village of the city Kotwali area. It is being told that four people from Najibabad had reached his house over a transaction dispute, after which a heated argument took place between the two parties and the matter escalated so much that one person opened fire with a pistol.
Gaurav Janghala told in the hospital that this attack is related to money transactions and village politics. Hearing the sound of gunshot, nearby people gathered, due to which the attackers fled. At present, injured Gaurav is undergoing treatment in a private hospital.
BKU Youth State President Digambar Singh also reached the hospital and took information about the incident from Gaurav and demanded strict action against the culprits.
Police did not receive the complaint, the incident is suspicious
No complaint has yet been given to the police regarding the incident. City Kotwal Uday Pratap said that at present the case appears to be suspicious, but investigation is going on. Police say that appropriate action will be taken after getting to the bottom of this transaction related incident.
