Use of substandard bricks in construction of 400 meter Khadanja

A 400 meter embankment is being constructed from Surajlal’s house in the village to Channu’s house on Dabur Road. The villagers accused the contractor of leaving large gaps between the bricks and filling them with soil, which is affecting the strength of the mortar.

Villagers demand: Substandard bricks should be removed

Villager Mohit Tiwari said that standards are being ignored in the construction of Khadanja. He demanded that the yellow bricks should be removed and stronger bricks should be installed and the road should be leveled as per the standards.

Block Development Officer Dr. Sushant Singh said that if substandard material has been used in the construction, it will be rectified. JEE Amardeep Kasana said that he is on leave, but talks have been held with the contractor and appropriate action will be taken after investigating the matter.
