The incident of rape of a woman in Fatehpur district of Uttar Pradesh has created a stir in the area. The victim woman informed the police about the incident that happened to her in Dhata police station area on October 27.

The woman told in her complaint that she was working in the fields in the afternoon when 50-year-old Bala Prasad alias Midu Nishad of the village reached there. He caught the woman from behind and pressed her face and threw her on the ground. When the woman protested, the accused beat her and fled from the spot.
After the incident, the woman went home and informed her family about this horrific incident. After this, he went to the police and lodged a complaint. The police registered a case on Tahrir and started investigating the matter. Dhata police station in-charge Alok Kumar Pandey said that after the woman’s complaint, a case of rape was registered against Bala Prasad alias Midu Nishad on November 2.
The accused was absconding before his arrest, but the police continued searching for him. Finally, today at 4 pm, the police arrested the accused near Hinauta Road Canal Pulia. Now action is being taken against the accused to send him to jail.
