In fact, the DM conducted a surprise inspection of the fertilizer purchasing center of the Sadhan Cooperative Society in Tilakpur of Hariharpur Rani development block and took stock of the sale of fertilizers. During the inspection itself, it was revealed that black marketing was being done by Cooperative Secretary Ravi Kumar by arbitrarily selling fertilizers to the farmers. Wrong stock was also being mentioned on the register.

On which the District Magistrate severely reprimanded the Co-operative Secretary on the spot and directed the AR Co-operative to suspend him with immediate effect.

The District Magistrate also talked to the farmers and gave them detailed information about purchasing fertilizers. He appealed to the farmers to immediately inform the district administration if fertilizer is being sold illegally anywhere in their area. So that action can be taken in time. Fertilizer can be provided to farmers at reasonable prices.
