According to the information received, Nitin Singh, resident of Hajauli village of Gadwar police station area, was shot by Nitin’s neighbor Chanchal Singh late on Monday night in a personal dispute.
Additional Superintendent of Police (South) Kripa Shankar said that Chanchal Singh, a resident of Hajauli village, shot his neighbor Nitin Singh, a resident of the same village, with the intention of killing him at around 11:30 pm. On receiving information in this regard, the police immediately reached the spot and sent the injured to the district hospital.
According to doctors, the condition of the injured is out of danger but he is being referred to BHU for better treatment. In this regard, after receiving a complaint from the relatives of the injured, police teams have been deployed to register a case under appropriate sections and arrest the accused. Police force is present at the spot, there is no problem related to peace and order.
