Shyamdev Rai Chaudhary ‘Dada’, a nine-time MLA from Varanasi city southern assembly constituency, collapsed at home on Monday evening and suffered brain haemorrhage. On Tuesday, when his health worsened, he was admitted to a private hospital in Ravindrapuri.

When the PMO came to know about the condition of the former MLA, he informed the Prime Minister about it. PM Modi called the former MLA’s nephew at 4 pm on Tuesday evening to inquire about the condition of former MLA Shyamdev Rai Chaudhary ‘Dada’. Along with inquiring about the well-being of his nephew, he also assured him of all possible help from the government.
Kashi MP and country’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi called to inquire about the well being of former MLA Shyamdev Rai Chaudhary. On receiving the call, his nephew Jaiprakash Rai told him that he got injured due to a sudden fall at his residence and then became unconscious.
He was immediately taken to a private hospital in Mahmoorganj, doctors diagnosed him with brem haemorrhage. After the condition improved, he was referred to the hospital at Ravindrapuri. Prime Minister Modi wished for a speedy recovery and assured that there will be no delay in Dada’s treatment. The Prime Minister said that in case of any need, he asked to immediately contact the administrative officials.

On the other hand, as soon as information was received about the deteriorating health of the former MLA, Minister of State (Independent Charge) Ravindra Jaiswal and Dayashankar Mishra Dayalu, MLA Dr. Neelkanth Tiwari, Saurabh Srivastava, Kashi Area President Dilip Patel, Mayor Ashok Tiwari and many BJP leaders went to the hospital. After reaching there go to the hall.
Varanasi Divisional Commissioner Kaushal Raj Sharma also took information about health over telephone. He said that the CMO has been instructed to contact the doctors of the hospital.
