Hardoi Superintendent of Police (SP) Neeraj Kumar Jadaun has adopted a tough stance to maintain discipline among the police personnel in Hardoi. After showing strictness in the initial days, the SP had shown some leniency, but as the negligence of the policemen increased, he again took strict action.

Among these, a head constable and a constable of Shahabad Kotwali were suspended due to negligence in duty, while three inspectors and two sub-inspectors who were missing from the police line without permission were also suspended. Along with this, departmental action has been ordered against five. The SP made it clear that those doing good work will be appreciated, but negligence will not be tolerated.
Sudden inspection creates stir Late on Tuesday night, SP Neeraj Kumar Jadaun suddenly inspected the police stations. Constable Govind Prajapati, who was on duty at the gate of Shahabad Kotwali, was not at the gate but was busy talking to someone behind, due to which he did not even notice the arrival of the SP.
Even inside the office, head constable Pramod Kumar was missing after handing over the responsibility of the wireless set to a Home Guard jawan, not on his duty. Taking immediate action, the SP suspended constable Govind and head constable Pramod Kumar and has also ordered an inquiry into the negligence of Kotwal Nirbhay Kumar Singh.
Policemen missing from police lines also on target The disappearance of the personnel posted in the police line from the headquarters without permission came to the notice of SP Neeraj Kumar Jadaun. During the night count, it was found that Inspector Ramesh Chandra Pandey, Bal Krishna Mishra, Rakesh Kumar, Inspector Prempal and Ramraj were absent from their duty. Some of these were found in Lucknow and some in Jaunpur. Due to this indiscipline, the SP suspended all three inspectors and two sub-inspectors.
Other personnel under investigation During the counting, Inspector Ashutosh Singh, Sujit Singh and Inspector Asgar Ali, Sabhanath, Sandeep Tiwari were also found absent in the line. Although, he had gone to the city to collect the goods and returned after some time, his negligence is also being investigated.
SP’s message SP Neeraj Kumar Jadaun says that any policeman who breaks discipline will not be spared, no matter what post he holds.
