Farmers have been appealed not to burn stubble
Deputy Director Agriculture Satyendra Kumar Tiwari said that the sub-divisional agricultural extension officers of Sirathu and Manjhanpur have been given a strict warning. Some other officers have been given adverse entries. The salaries of many employees for the month of November have been withheld.
Satyendra Kumar has appealed to the farmers not to burn stubble. Make proper arrangements for it. Cut the stubble with SMS fitted harvester. Where there is excess stubble, it can be taken to the nearest shelter center and exchanged for cow dung manure. For burning stubble, a fine of Rs 5000 will be imposed on land less than 2 acres and Rs 15,000 on land more than 5 acres.
