Sanjay Jaiswal, Chairman of Nagar Panchayat in Machhilishahr in Jaunpur, has been arrested by the police on charges of fraud and selling trailers through fake documents. Sanjay Jaiswal has become the chairman for the fourth time and in the recent elections he had won on BSP ticket.

Machhilishahr police say that Sanjay Jaiswal is accused of selling 13 trailers through fake NOC without the permission of the vehicle owner and taking advantage of crores without repaying the bank loan. In this entire case, in-charge Inspector Satya Prakash Singh and Sub Inspector Krishnanand Yadav along with their team raided Kunwarpur Toll Plaza on Tuesday and arrested the Chairman. It is being told that through this fraud, Sanjay Jaiswal has earned illegal profit of about Rs 5 crore.
Younger brother made allegations, evidence revealed in investigation The matter came to light when Sanjay Jaiswal’s younger brother filed a complaint against him. Area Officer Machhilishahr Gijendra Kumar Singh said that after finding strong evidence in the investigation, the police took action against Sanjay Jaiswal. Now he is being sent to jail under legal proceedings.
