Kohli out of top-20 Test rankings after 10 years: Rohit reached number 26, Pant-Yashasvi in top-10; Ashwin also suffered loss

Virat Kohli was last out of the top-20 Test rankings in 2014.
India’s Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma are out of the top-20 in the ICC Test Batsmen Rankings. Rishabh Pant and Shubman Gill gained in the latest rankings released on Wednesday. Whereas Ravichandran Ashwin reached fifth place in the bowlers ranking.
New Zealand jumped one place to number 5 in the Test team rankings. The team pushed Sri Lanka back. Australia is at first place and India is at second place.
Virat out of top-20 after 10 years Virat Kohli could score only one fifty in the home Test series against Bangladesh and New Zealand. He scored 192 runs in 10 innings at an average of 21.33. Due to weak performance in 5 consecutive Tests, Virat lost 8 places and reached 22nd position.
Virat was out of the top-20 Test rankings after 10 years, the last time he was out of the top-20 was in 2014 due to poor performance against England. In the same year, he returned to the top-10 by scoring 4 centuries in Australia. India is now going to tour Australia once again from 22nd November.
Virat Kohli has been able to score only one fifty in the last 5 tests.
Rohit reached 26th position, Pant got advantage Rohit Sharma also suffered a loss in the batsmen’s rankings, moving from 24th to 26th. India’s wicketkeeper batsman Rishabh Pant entered the top-10, reaching sixth position. Shubhman Gill also jumped 4 places to reach 16th position.
The top Indian among Test batsmen is Yashasvi Jaiswal. However, after the New Zealand series, he also lost one place and reached fourth position. England’s Joe Root is at first and New Zealand’s Kane Williamson is at second.
Rohit Sharma could score only 133 runs in the last 5 tests.
Ashwin loss among bowlers After the Test series against Bangladesh, India’s Jasprit Bumrah was first and Ravichandran Ashwin was second in the bowlers’ rankings. After the New Zealand series, Bumrah reached third position and Ashwin reached fifth position. However, Ravindra Jadeja jumped 2 places to reach sixth position. Kagiso Rabada of South Africa remains at first place and Josh Hazlewood of Australia remains at second place.
Ravichandran Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja remain in the top-6 of the bowlers’ rankings.
India is the top team in ODI and T-20 Even after losing the Test series against New Zealand 0-3, India remains at second position in the team rankings. Australia is on top. New Zealand moved up one place to fifth place. Team India remains the top team in ODI and T-20.
