The 5-day tribal fair organized in Chichlik village of Nagwan block of Sonbhadra ended on Tuesday night. A glimpse of tribal culture, folk dance and handicrafts was seen in the fair. Gorakhpur MP Ravi Kishan also participated in the closing ceremony and sang Bhojpuri songs.

Display of tribal handicrafts and traditional art in the fair
The fair featured stalls of tribal handicrafts, handlooms, paintings, jewellery, cane and bamboo artefacts, pottery, tribal cuisine, and natural products. These stalls presented a unique glimpse of traditional tribal art and culture, which was visited by a large number of people.
MP gave message to benefit from government schemes
MP Ravi Kishan appealed to the people of tribal areas to take advantage of the government schemes and contribute to the development of their area. He said that the government is running many schemes to improve the cultural development and living standards of the people living in forest areas, by joining which they can get benefits.
