Kannada actor Shivarajkumar has gained stardom with his top-notch acting credentials in the films Om, Vajrakaya, and Nammoora Mandaara Hoove. He is going through a difficult phase in his personal life. In an interview with a YouTube channel, the actor revealed that he is suffering from a health issue. He talked about this while promoting his upcoming film Bhairathi Ranagal, written and directed by Narthan. “I am also a human being, and I have a problem. It has come, and I am taking treatment for it. I have about four sessions of treatment to complete.” The actor has not revealed what exactly his health problem is. According to Shivarajkumar, he had initially kept his health issue private to avoid creating public panic. The 62-year-old actor said that he has now gained the confidence to face this problem.
Shivarajkumar’s film Bhairathi Ranagal is all set to hit the cinema halls on November 15, 2024. This film stars Rahul Bose, Chaya Singh, Devaraj and others in important roles. Backed by Geetha Pictures, this film is scheduled to be released in cinema halls in November 2024. This film will be released in Kannada, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam. Earlier it was announced to be released on 15 August 2024 but later it was postponed.
Bhairathi Ranagal is a prequel to the 2017 film, Mufti starring Shivarajkumar in the lead role. Mufti starred Shivarajkumar as the dreaded crime mafia, Bhairathi Ranagal. Actor Sriimurali played the role of an undercover cop on a mission to apprehend Bhairathi. Mufti also starred Shanvi Srivastava, Vasishta N Simha, Chikkanna, and Chaya Singh in key roles. This film did not have a pan-Indian release. The 2017 action romance was later dubbed into Hindi and Bhojpuri languages.
Upcoming films of Shivarajkumar
On the work front, Shivarajkumar will next act in the film Uttarakaanda directed by Sharath Manjunath and Rohith Padaki. This film starred Ramya, Aishwarya Rajesh, Atul Kulkarni, Bhavana and others in important roles. KRG Studios has backed Uttarakaanda, an action-adventure drama film. This film is currently in the production stage and is expected to be released in cinemas in December 2024.
