From television channels like CNN to ABC and MSNBC to print/online new outlets like The Guardian, micro blogging social media website X was full of posts on how the liberal media outlets were having a bad day of sorts.

It has been a day of meltdowns for several media outlets and one of hurrahs for others in the United States as Donald Trump won the US Presidential Elections 2024. Trump will take over as the US President for the second time, after he served from 2016 to 2020.

From television channels like CNN to ABC and MSNBC to print/online new outlets like The Guardian, micro blogging social media website X was full of posts on how the “liberal media outlets” were having a bad day of sorts. Videos from CNN anchors counting the “effects of Trump’s presidency” and ABC panel blaming “everyone but Kamala Harris” for her loss were going viral on the social media.

‘Republicans Called Trump Fascist’

In one of the clips going viral CNN’s Van Jones was heard saying it was Republicans who called Trump a “fascist Hitler lover, not Democrats.”

In another clip, Jones was heard saying, “I’m thinking about the people who are not a part of anybody’s elite, who are hurting tonight.”

‘It’s Misogyny’

In one of the video clips going viral, MSNBC’s Joe Scarborough blames misogynistic Latinos and black men for Kamala Harris loss. “It’s misogyny from Hispanic men, it’s misogyny from black men — things we’ve all been talking about — who do not want a woman leading them,” he said on his show.

A video clip of a panel on ABC went viral where they were heard discussing how “Kamala did everything she could have, yet lost.”

‘Fear Triumphs Over Hope’

While television news channels had their meltdown, there were articles on liberal news websites that said “fear has triumphed”. “America knew that he was a convicted criminal, serial liar and racist demagogue who four years ago attempted to overthrow the government. It voted for him anyway,” a column in The Guardian said.

‘Biggest political Phoenix From The Ashes’

While “liberal media outlets” had a meltdown, right leaning media was “over the moon”. Fox News was one of the first to call the election in Trump’s favour. Fox News anchor Bret Baier, praising Trump, said,  “Even that he’s here at this moment, from January 7th, 2021, until now — is probably the biggest political phoenix from the ashes that we have ever seen in the history of politics.”
