Representatives of different countries will take the message of peace to the program organized at the Buddhist Institute of Gomtinagar. On this occasion, Tourism and Culture Minister Jaiveer Singh gave information about the Buddhist places covered under the Buddhist Circuit by the Tourism Department.
The Tourism Minister said that the state government is developing tourist facilities at tourist places on priority basis. With this, devotees coming from all over the country and the world leave with an unforgettable experience. Buddhism has its origin in Uttar Pradesh. A large number of devotees from across the country and the world come to important places associated with Lord Gautam Buddha like Sarnath, Kushinagar, Kapilvastu, Kaushambi, Shravasti etc.
The number of tourists here is increasing very rapidly in the future. The Tourism Minister said that TFC, Gate Complex and other tourism facilities are being developed in Kushinagar. Similarly, tourism facilities are being created on Buddhist Bihars in Shravasti. Preparations are underway to construct a Buddhist theme park and gate complex in Kaushambi. Similarly, development of tourism facilities at Buddhist monasteries located in Kapilvastu and development of Kapilvastu is being done. Vipassana center is being constructed in Kapilvastu. Along with this, tourism facilities are being developed in Sarnath, Sankisa and Shravasti.
