Police have registered a case against the person running a factory of fake DAP fertilizer in Mitra Puram area of Friends Colony police station area of Etawah. A complaint was filed against the accused by the District Agriculture Officer.

Let us inform that on November 5, on the instructions of SDM Sadar, this raid was conducted under the leadership of Naib Tehsildar Shikhar Mishra and District Agriculture Officer Pramod Kumar. The team observed in the factory that fake DAP was being prepared by illegally mixing DAP, MOP and white powder.
On the spot, red colored powder was found in 33 sacks, black granular substance like DAP in 51 sacks, and white colored powder in 15 sacks. One accused was arrested from the spot. He was identified as Virendra Singh, resident of Katra Bal Singh under city police station.
The accused is being interrogated
Inspector in-charge Balram Mishra said that a report has been registered against the accused on the complaint of the District Agriculture Officer. However, he has not been sent to jail yet because the case is being investigated from every aspect so that the entire network of adulterators can be exposed.
