The statement of state government cabinet minister Om Prakash Rajbhar is in discussion amid the slogan ‘Batenge to Katenge’ at the center of by-elections. Rajbhar called it the slogan of Brahma. On what basis did Rajbhar compare this slogan? After all, what was Brahma sentence? Read in detail…

First know, what did Rajbhar say? Minister Om Prakash Rajbhar said in the Dalit Backward Mahasammelan in Majhwan assembly constituency of Mirzapur district that ‘If you divide, you will be cut’, this is the sentence of Brahma. He said that Brahma ji raised this slogan. Lord Brahma has said that ‘Sanghe Shakti Kalyuge’. There is strength in organization in Kalyug. This is what our CM Yogi Adityanath is saying. If you remain united there will be no riot.

Minister Om Prakash Rajbhar speaking at the Dalit Backward Mahasammelan.

Rajbhar said that the Samajwadi Party government kept it divided, you saw that 815 riots took place. There were 1300 casualties. There were 600 riots during the BSP government, around 1200 people lost their lives. Both their records were broken during the Congress government. This is what Yogi ji is saying. They are talking about Brahma ji, some are not saying their own words.

After the program, on the question of who was dividing, who was dividing? Rajbhar said, it has been seven and a half years of Bharatiya Janata Party rule. The riots that used to take place during the governments of SP, BSP and Congress and the divisions among themselves, this has come to a complete stop. He (CM Yogi) is saying that you people should not go here and there. Do not go towards the opposing party, stay close to it.

Mention in Sanskrit verse, emphasis on unity There is mention of ‘Sanghe Shakti Kalyuge’ in the Sanskrit verse. At some places in this verse it has been called Sanghe Shakti Kaliyuge and at some places it has been pronounced as Kalau Yuge. The essence of both tells the importance of the power of the organization.

‘Tretayan Mantra-Shaktischa, Gyan Shakti: Krite-Yuge. Dvapare Yudh-Shaktischa, Sanghashakti Kalu Yuge’.

This means that in Satyayuga there was the power of knowledge, in Treta there was power of mantra, in Dwapara there was power of war, and in Kaliyuga the power of organization was the main thing. Dr. Amit Pandey, Principal of Shri Ramchandra Mahavidyalaya Degree College, Rampur Tikvapara, Sitapur, tells that Maharishi Krishnadvaipayan Vedvyas has mentioned this verse in Mahabharata.

When the Mahabharata war was going on in Kurukshetra, a large number of soldiers from both sides were killed. After the end of the war, Ved Vyas asked Lord Krishna, Lord! Why were you in favor of this war?

Then Lord Shri Krishna answered this in this verse ‘Tretayan Mantra-Shaktischa, Gyan Shakti: Krite-Yuge. Gave from Dvapare Yudh-Shaktischa, Sanghashakti Kalu Yuge. Because Maharishi Krishnadvaipayana Vedvyas is called Brahmarishi. Vedvyas is considered to be the fifth incarnation of Brahma. Ved Vyas himself wrote it in Mahabharata, that is why it is called Brahma Vakya.

Lessons in Sanskrit books and mention in Sangh programs Talking about ‘Sanghe Shakti’, it is mentioned at many places. UP Board and other Sanskrit book also have a text named Sanghe Shakti Yuge-Yuge. In which there is a story of a pigeon and a hunter. The text tells that some pigeons get caught in a hunter’s net. They all try different things to free themselves from the trap, but do not succeed. Then when they try together, they fly away with the net. In this way their lives are saved. The essence of the story is that working in an organized manner definitely leads to success.

Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) also mentions ‘Sanghe Shakti’ in its programmes. The Sangh uses it to tell its workers the importance of organizational unity. However, controversies have also come up regarding this many times. Parties opposing BJP and RSS say that both of them use the names of the deities who are worshiped in Hindu religion to serve political interests.

PM Modi also mentions ‘Sanghe Shakti’ PM Modi has also mentioned ‘Sanghe Shakti Yuge-Yuge’ in his address. PM Modi had said that Sangh is the strength of every era. That means in this era, power lies in organization. Organized power means everyone’s effort. The path to take the resolution to accomplishment. When 130 crore people together take a step forward, it is not one step, but 130 crore steps. It is the nature of us Indians that by doing something good, we get a different kind of peace. When these do-gooders come together, a rosary of scattered pearls is formed.
