India defeated South Africa by 61 runs in the first T20. In a one-sided match held at the Kingsmead Stadium in Durban, Sanju Samson scored centuries in consecutive matches and scored an inning of 107 runs. India gave a target of 203 runs to South Africa. In reply, the Proteas team was all out for 141 runs in 17.5 overs. Varun Chakraborty and Ravi Bishnoi got 3-3 wickets.

1. Yanson argued with Suryakumar
There was an argument between Marco Janson and Suryakumar Yadav in the 15th over of the South Africa innings. Here Gerald Cooties played the second ball of the over for a single. Here Arshdeep threw towards keeper Sanju Samson. Sanju came towards the pitch to catch it. After which Yanson complained about this to the umpire. Later, Gerald Cooties and Marco Yanson were seen arguing with Suryakumar Yadav.

2. Yanson out after donating his life
Hardik dropped Yanson’s catch on the fifth ball of the 15th over. He was out on the very next ball. Yanson played a shot on Ravi Bishnoi’s ball, Pandya standing at the point took a dive. But could not catch the catch. On the very next ball, Yanson again played an aerial shot, this time the ball again went to Hardik Pandya. Pandya took the catch easily. Yanson was out after scoring 12 runs.
