General Council President Ganesh Chandra Joshi said that the creation of Uttarakhand is the result of the struggle of the agitators. General Secretary Mahendra Singh Rawat said that there was a demand for a long time to honor the Uttarakhand state agitators of Lucknow so that the coming generations could take inspiration from their sacrifice.

State agitator Ghanand Pandey Megh also recited a poem.
