Anshu Rajak won the second consecutive gold medal in the 68th Regional School Athletics Competition being held at Lalpur Stadium in Varanasi. Anshu won gold in 200 meters. Anshu will be vying for a medal in the 400m final on the last day of the competition on Friday. Teacher

During this, Nishtha Tripathi of Lucknow division won three gold medals in the Under-14 category. Won gold in 100m, 200m and relay races.
Jagatpur Vikas gets gold in 1500 meters Varanasi’s dominance is being seen in the 68th Regional School Athletics Competition going on in Varanasi. Varanasi’s Anshu Rajak Jahan will hit the track today to win his triple gold medal. Vikas Kumar of Jatpur Inter College qualified for the national competition by winning the gold medal in 1500 meter race. Apart from this, Vikas won silver medal in 3000 meters. In this also he qualified in the national competition.
Varanasi team got total 15 medals on the fourth day Varanasi division won a total of 15 medals on the fourth day of this competition. In the 500 meter race of Under-17 boys category, Rishu Kumar of Varanasi won gold medal and Vineet Singh Patel of Varanasi won bronze medal. Khushboo of Varanasi won gold in Under-17 girls category, Varanasi won gold medal in 4×400 Under-17 boys category. Varanasi got silver medal in girls category.
Varanasi got gold in Under-19 girls category 4×400 relay race, stood second in Under-14. Whereas Anshu captured the gold medal in 200 meters. In the girls category, Priya Rai of Varanasi won the bronze medal in the Under-17 200 meter race. All the players have qualified for Nationals.
Sheikh Zeeshan gets gold in triple jump During this, Sheikh Zeeshan of Varanasi won the gold medal in triple jump. Sheikh Zeeshan has qualified for Nationals. Whereas in the girls category, Varanasi stood third. During this, Joint Education Director Ram Sharan Singh gave medals to the players.
