The matter is of Mishrikh Kotwali area. Here, two laborers working in the police barrack under construction in the Kotwali complex became victims of an accident. According to the information, shuttering mechanic Sushil (30), resident of Kashipur village of the police station area, and laborer Manohar (35), resident of Sarai Bibi village, were opening the linter shutters by standing on the plinth without safety equipment in the building being constructed by the police department on Friday evening. Meanwhile, suddenly the wooden scaffolding broke and both the workers fell down from three floors.

Hearing the screams, local laborers took both of them in seriously injured condition to the Community Health Center Misrikh. Where Sushil died during treatment. Due to serious condition of Manohar, he has been referred to the District Hospital, Sitapur. Police reached the spot after receiving information about the accident and sent the body of the deceased for post-mortem. The relatives of the deceased are in bad condition, crying.

The family members of the laborer have filed a complaint against Gopal Gupta, the contractor of the work organization, and unknown people, alleging that the work was done negligently and holding them responsible for the death of the laborer. Based on the complaint of the family members, the police has started investigation.

Additional Superintendent of Police South Praveen Ranjan Singh said that investigation is being done on the basis of the complaint. Further legal action will be taken on the basis of post mortem report.
