This incident took place in Udraya village of Ghungchai police station area. A few days ago, Phoolchand’s minor granddaughter was helped by Mahendra of the village to escape. The police later recovered the girl and handed her over to the family. Due to this there was dispute between both the families.

Police is investigating the matter

On Friday, there was the tilak of Phoolchand’s grandson Sompal. In which relatives were also present. Meanwhile, on Saturday morning, Mahendra’s family members started abusing and beating him. The police was informed about this, but the police did not reach on time.

In the evening, Mahendra’s family again tried to pull the girl away from the house, due to which the fight escalated into a violent conflict. During this, Mahendra’s family beat Phool Chand, due to which he died. The injured have been admitted to the Community Health Center of Puranpur for treatment. Police reached the spot after the incident and started investigating the matter.
