Jaunpur The court of ACJM IV Dhruvesh Kumar Yadav has ordered to register an FIR against three persons for raping a married woman with a knife in Singramau area. The court has directed police station incharge Singramau to complete the investigation within a week.

What is the whole matter? The victim, a resident of Khutahan, has alleged that on the night of 19th August, when she was returning to her home on foot from Dudhauda market, three accused riding a bike near the culvert, put a pistol on her temple and forcibly took her towards the field near the drain and Committed rape. During this incident, some women going for defecation saw and raised an alarm, due to which people nearby started gathering. Seeing the crowd coming, the accused fled from the spot threatening to kill.
Court’s stance on non-hearing in police The victim informed the Singramau police station and the Superintendent of Police about the incident, but when no action was taken by the police, she filed an application in the court. Considering the seriousness of the case, the court has ordered police station incharge Singramau to immediately register an FIR.
