Kartik Aaryan is currently basking in the success of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3. The horror-comedy movie, helmed by Anees Bazmee, crossed the Rs 100 crore mark. The actor has numerous projects in his kitty and his fans are waiting with bated breath to see him in his next film. Amidst this, a recent report has revealed that Aryan might kickstart shoot for Pati Patni Aur Woh 2 as Anurag Basu’s Metro…In Dino has been delayed.
As reported by Mid-Day, Anurag Basu’s Metro…In Dino is facing some delays. The report added that the director is not happy with how some scenes are shaping up and he wants to devote more time to reshooting some scenes. It mentioned how this decision has impacted Kartik Aaryan’s schedule and the actor has decided to pick up Mudassar Aziz’s Pati Patni Aur Woh 2.
The report added that Aaryan plans to kickstart Pati Patni Aur Woh 2 by early December. It also quoted a source close to the development who said, “Anurag wasn’t completely satisfied with how some scenes shaped up, especially given the emotional complexity that is crucial to each of the intertwined stories of the film. He felt that re-shooting some scenes would help the narrative and better capture the story’s essence. In the interim, Aaryan plans to utilize this time to commence work on Pati Patni Aur Woh 2, directed by Mudassar Aziz. He will start Pati Patni Aur Woh 2 by early December.”
Aaryan has reportedly liked the script of Pati Patni Aur Woh 2 and the makers are keen to start shooting as soon as they can. On the work front, the actor also starred in Chandu Champion before the release of Bhool Bhulaiyaa. The movie did well and he was praised by the critics for his performance. Metro…In Dino will also star Aditya Roy Kapoor, Sara Ali Khan, Ali Fazal, Fatima Sana Sheikh, Pankaj Tripathi, Konkana Sen Sharma, Anupam Kher, and Neena Gupta in key roles.
