The administration has become alert to ensure the successful completion of Akshaya Navami, Devuthani Ekadashi, Tulsi Vivah, Kartik Purnima and Dev Diwali in Gonda. Superintendent of Police (SP) Vineet Jaiswal arrived in the city with jurisdictional officer Nagar, Kotwal Nagar and a large number of police forces.

During this, he talked to the passers-by and gave them a sense of security and gave strict instructions to the officials to keep the security arrangements in check. Along with this, he also gave instructions to increase vigilance on social media.
SP arrived at Shri Ram Katha, inspected security arrangements
During the foot march, SP Jaiswal walked from Badgaon intersection to Rani Bazar and reached the Shri Ram Katha site. There he checked the policemen deployed on security duty and took detailed stock of all the arrangements. The operators of Shri Ram Katha Samiti demanded more police deployment outside the Katha site, on which the SP instructed the officials to deploy more police forces as per the need.
Safety awareness campaign on festivals
SP Vineet Jaiswal said that complete security arrangements have been made to conduct all the upcoming major festivals peacefully. He said, “People have been made to feel safe by marching on foot late in the evening. Security arrangements have also been inspected by visiting Shri Ram Katha site, so that there is no problem of any kind.”
SP said that there is a possibility of more crowd in the coming days due to festivals, hence strong security arrangements have been ensured.
