Saba Haider’s victory in the DuPage County Board race is another reason to celebrate. The birthplace of Saba Haider is Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh. After winning the DuPage County Board elections, she now resides in Chicago, USA. She has been in the news all the time since. Let’s know how this Indian-student girl is bringing honour to India in America.

Early Life

She used to reside in Sanjay Nagar, Ghaziabad, with her family. Her early schooling was finished in Ghaziabad. Her mother is a schoolteacher, while her father was employed at Uttar Pradesh Jal Nigam as a senior engineer. Abbas Haider and Zeeshan Haider, Saba’s brothers, own a company in Dubai.

Career

Saba completed her intermediate education at Holy Child School before pursuing a bachelor’s degree at RCC Girls College. Her gold medal in BSc is a good indicator of how keen she is in her academics. Saba went on to get a gold medal for her MSc in Wildlife Sciences from Aligarh Muslim University.

Following her graduation, Saba married Ali Kazmi, a native of Bulandshahr’s Mohalla Sadat. In 2007, Saba and her spouse moved to the United States after getting married. They currently reside in the Illinois district of Chicago and have two kids: a daughter named Aizah Ali and a son named Azim Ali.

During her time in America, Saba began working as a yoga instructor and participated in numerous social welfare initiatives. The Democratic Party decided to put her forward for the DuPage County Board elections after recognising these attributes. She received almost 9,000 votes to win this race. There are 9.30 lakh voters spread over nine districts and towns in her service area.
