One lakh 7 hundred 75 children participated in the second day of MP Sports Competition in Varanasi. On the second day, apart from three blocks, Sevapuri, Arajiline and Kashi Vidyapeeth, the event was organized in Adampur, Bhelupur, Dashashwamedh, Kotwali and Varunapar zones in the city area.

In this event, competition was held at 466 places. A total of 15782 children became winners in this. A total of 1,08,417 spectators were present to watch the various games.
CDO said – MP Sports Competition has been started for development, discipline and love for sports among children. Many players have reached the Olympics through this competition. In such a situation, this scheme of the Prime Minister is providing an opportunity to enhance the talents of rural areas along with sports. He wished the winning players a bright future.
On the second day, this competition was organized at a total of 466 places in rural and urban areas. In which a total of 100775 participants participated in various sports under-11, under-14, under-18, under-40 and above 40 years.
In which – 13,246 participated in athletics (100 meter, 200 meter, 400 meter, 800 meter and long jump), 14,293 in rope jumping, 6,365 in tug of war, 6,579 in chinup, 27,937 in Kho Kho, 29,975 in Kabaddi, 5,279 in push up. In which the total number was 1,00,775. In which a total of 15,782 participants were declared winners.
