On Sunday, on the occasion of Navami of Kartik Shukla Paksha and Akshaya Navami in Mathura, a crowd of devotees gathered since early morning for 21 Kosi Parikrama of Vrindavan, Mathura and Garuda Govind (Three Forests). Devotees of all ages circled around chanting Harinam Sankirtan and chanting Radhe-Radhe.

According to religious belief, by doing 21 Kosi Parikrama of three forests on Akshaya Navami, devotees get Akshaya Punya. Due to the enthusiasm of the devotees, the entire parikrama route echoed with the sound of sankirtan and bhajans. This sacred parikrama is organized on the same day as Akshaya Navami and starts from morning till night.
To serve the pilgrims, various social workers and voluntary organizations organized drinking water, fruits, tea, snacks and first aid camps at various places. Apart from this, the Municipal Corporation deployed additional sanitation workers for special cleaning arrangements, thereby maintaining the cleanliness of the route. The police administration was also deployed at every nook and corner for security reasons.
Special arrangements were made for the safety of the devotees. On this holy occasion of Akshaya Navami, lakhs of devotees joined the Parikrama and kept moving forward chanting the praises of Lord Krishna. The amazing sight of enthusiasm and faith of the devotees was captivating everyone.
