The Municipal Commissioner has constituted an eight-member team. It will be headed by the Additional Municipal Commissioner. The committee should submit its investigation report by next Monday. The team members include Chief Engineer Civil, Chief Engineer RR, Chief Finance and Accounts Officer, Zonal Officer of Zone 3, Executive Engineer of Zone 8, Assistant Engineer of the Provincial Section of Public Works Department and Junior Engineer Technical.

Did not regain consciousness after operation

Ankit had an operation. His brother Himanshu told that he did not regain consciousness after the operation. One operation after another happened, the doctor told that the infection had spread in his body, due to which he died. Himanshu said – Till now we were busy saving our brother Ankit. He is no more. Negligence of the Municipal Corporation and the contractor has come to light in the entire matter. We will take action against both.

Police said that three friends Ankit, Pradeep and Addu were riding the Pulsar bike without wearing a helmet. The speed was 70-80 km per hour. Faizullaganj had reached near Ghazipur Primary School, suddenly the bike lost its balance and fell into the drain.

The construction of the drain is still going on. The iron rod installed there entered Ankit’s eye. The remaining two also suffered injuries to their hands, legs and head. Regional outpost incharge Amit Sahu said that he arrived with the team and removed the iron rods by cutting them.
