On Sunday, two workers were seriously injured after falling from a height at the under construction Obra C Power Plant in Obra police station area. After the accident, there was panic among the other workers present there. The injured were sent to the hospital for immediate treatment. This accident happened at that time

The incident took place in the intermediate silo area of the Obara C thermal project. Where NTIC company is doing the erection fabrication work. Meanwhile, laborers Anjit Kumar and Vinod Paswan were working at height with the help of shuttering. Suddenly a part of the shuttering broke and fell. Due to which both the workers fell straight on the ground. In this accident, Anjit Kumar’s right hand was broken and both the workers were buried under the debris of shuttering.
Fellow laborers showed promptness and pulled both of them out of the debris and took them to the project hospital. Where after first aid he was referred to another hospital for better treatment. Project Manager Anwar said – Two laborers have been injured during the work. His treatment is continuing.
