After the arrest, the police recovered the stolen jewelery along with a four-wheeler from them and issued a challan. Regarding this, CO Dinesh Dutt Mishra said that three women disguised themselves as eunuchs and entered inside the residence of Dr. Ganga Sagar Singh located at Kachari Mor in the city Kotwali area. Where his wife found Kusum Singh alone, snatched the jewelery and ran away in the Bolero.
Arrest made on informer’s information
Immediately after the incident, the Kotwali police registered a case in this case and started searching for the accused. Meanwhile, the police got information from the informer that the vicious women involved in the incident were near the city’s court turn. The police surrounded them and arrested them.
He further said that the arrested accused have been identified as Puttul alias Khushbun Nisha, Nikuri alias Hajra Khatoon, resident of Safrina and Afzal Ansari. All of them are residents of Ghazipur. Police have recovered the Bolero along with snatched ear-tips and cash worth Rs 500 from them.
