Surmila’s husband has complained at the public hearing (reference number 40017624045516), in which the District Youth Welfare and Regional Development Team officer has claimed to have solved the problem by giving a wrong report. The complainant alleges that the case was closed by making a fake report without any contact. After this, Surmila’s husband also sent a complaint to the Chief Minister, District Officer Barabanki and higher officials of the Provincial Guard and Youth Welfare Department.
Surmila seriously injured in the accident
Surmila was posted on duty at Kotwali Asandra police station on 2 November 2024. While on duty, while going for medical examination, she collided with a Nilgai at Deviganj intersection, due to which she was seriously injured. He was immediately admitted by the police in an ambulance to the Community Health Center Sidhaur, where he was treated. Now Surmila has no money left for treatment, but has not received any help from the District Youth Welfare and Regional Development Team officer.
Posted in a distant police station for not paying facility fee
Surmila’s husband alleges that the female PRD jawans from whom convenience fee is taken by some officers of the district office, are posted in nearby police stations. But, for not paying the facility fee, Surmila was posted at Daryabad police station, 40 kilometers away from home. The complainant has demanded a fair investigation and strict action against the guilty officers and employees.
