Liam Payne, former One Direction member, passed away on October 16. He succumbed to injuries after he reportedly fell from a third-floor balcony at the CasaSur Palermo Hotel in Buenos Aires, Argentina. As per recent updates, three individuals have been charged in connection with the singer’s death. One of whom broke his silence, revealing some shocking details about his relationship with the late singer.

Argentinian waiter Braian Nahuel Paiz is suspected of being Liam’s “dealer” in the ongoing investigation. As per a report by The Mirror US, he admitted to meeting the late singer twice in his hotel before he allegedly fell to his death and also confessed that he took drugs with him. However, Paiz insisted that he never supplied any narcotics to Liam, nor did he take any money from him.

On Saturday, Paiz appeared on Argentinian TV and spoke to journalist Guillermo Panizza, sharing that he first met Liam at the restaurant where he worked. The singer was accompanied by his girlfriend, Kate Cassidy and two other people. However, he noticed that Liam was already under the influence of drugs when he met him at the restaurant and didn’t even eat anything.

Further, in the conversation, Paiz, whose home has been thoroughly searched by the authorities, shared that he had even exchanged contacts with Liam. He revealed that the late singer had contacted him using a secret Instagram account. “We swapped details and saw each other later that night. It was all normal. He came down from his hotel room to fetch me because I had got lost,” he said, highlighting that the late singer talked about his upcoming music projects.

The Argentinian waiter recalled his second meeting with the singer, sharing that he had spent the night with Liam, where he smoked marijuana, and the latter consumed cocaine. “We took drugs together, but I never took drugs to him or accepted any money,” said Paiz.

After Liam’s tragic demise, several photos of his hotel room surfaced in the media. The Argentinian waiter, who is among the three main suspects, mentioned that he was confused upon seeing the pictures. “When I saw the photos of the inside of Liam’s hotel room, nothing made any sense to me,” he said. Paiz has been sacked from his job after his entanglement in the ongoing criminal probe.

Previously, Liam’s close friend Rogelio “Roger” Nores was linked to the case, but he has denied his involvement.
