The railing on the stairs of Shri Shyam Temple in Shahjahanpur broke. Seven people, including three from a family, were injured in the accident. The injured were sent to the Government Medical College. The accident took place at Shri Shyam Mandir located at Bareilly turn of Chowk Kotwali area.

A crowd of devotees had gathered here on Ekadashi. There were stone railings on the stairs leading inside the temple. Suddenly the railing broke and fell on the devotees. Due to which seven people were injured. Due to which seven people including Rajkumar, his wife Anita and daughter Riya, living near Kanojia, were injured.

Due to Ekadashi, there was a lot of crowd in the temple.

Such a crowd will gather at Shri Shyam Temple to celebrate Ekadashi festival. Even the police were not aware of this. The special thing is that the senior police officers also stayed at the spot for a long time. Kept getting the jam cleared also.
