The incident took place on Ghiror road near Kurawali town. A woman named Soni, a resident of village Madhukarpur, was returning home in an e-rickshaw in the evening. During this time, a woman and a girl sitting nearby broke the gold chain from his neck. But Poonam, a resident of Lakhaura, who was sitting nearby, immediately caught the thieves and also recovered the gold chain from their bag. The accused women raised an alarm and a crowd gathered at the spot. The police were informed, and the police arrived immediately and arrested the accused women.
Police registered a case against both of them The names of the women caught are Babli wife Rakesh and Rekha daughter Rajveer. The police have registered a case against both of them and are preparing to send them to jail.
