An electrician died after falling from a pole.
A tragic incident took place on Wednesday in Badi Bazaar of Revati Nagar, Ballia, when an 18-year-old private electrical worker fell from the pole and died. Police have started investigation by sending the body for postmortem.

Suraj Sah (18 years), resident of Sultanpur police station Bansdih, was working to connect cables for electricity supply by Monte Carlo organization. The incident occurred near the turning point of Kali Mandir located near Gandhi Ghat, when Suraj was working by climbing the pole and suddenly fell straight from the pole to the ground.
Relatives took them to the district hospital Suraj was immediately rushed to the local CHC, but the doctors declared him dead. Later, he was taken to the district hospital, where his death was confirmed and the body was sent for post-mortem. According to preliminary information, the accident probably occurred due to back current during electrical connection, which flowed through the wires from the inverters and caused Suraj to fall from the pole and die.
