Tamil superstar Suriya faced criticism from the Mumbai paparazzi at a recent Kanguva event. The actor was in the city to promote the film and ended up tackling an angry photographer over what appears to be seating arrangement. In a video shared on social media, a senior photographer was seen angrily calling out Suriya over the seating system and in the process, also called him out for delaying the event by several hours.
The Jai Bhim actor patiently heard the paparazzo and even attempted to calm him down. Once the event began, one of the first things that Suriya did was apologise to the media for the delay. “I apologise for the delay. It is not the Mumbai traffic, it is the air traffic. We’ve been taking flights everyday. Excuses aside, sincere apologies. I couldn’t have control over this,” Suriya admitted.
Suriya then pointed out at the paparazzo who got into a fight with him and said, “Sir, I hope we have your love, we still have your love.”
