Strict action has been taken when many schools were found closed during the inspection of the Education Department in Ballia. Basic Education Officer (BSA) Manish Kumar Singh, taking action under ‘No Work No Pay’, has stopped the salary/honorarium of all the employees of closed schools.

During the progress of departmental programs and inspection of schools, primary school of education area Belhari, Piarauta West, primary school of Dubhad, umbrella no. Another primary school of Beruarbari, Janpur, was found closed during school hours. The details of these schools are also recorded on the Prerna portal.
BSA Manish Kumar Singh said that the schools being found closed during school hours shows the indiscipline of the headmaster, assistant teacher, Shikshamitra, instructors and all the employees working there and disobedience to the orders of higher officials. This is a case of serious negligence in the discharge of duties and responsibilities.
