Preparations for the Kartik fair to be held in Unnao on 15th November are going on in full swing on the banks of Ganga. Swings are the center of attraction in the fair
Kartik fair of Unnao is famous for its attractions and varieties. Every year on the day of Kartik Purnima, lakhs of devotees reach here to take a bath in the Ganga. This time, the aerial swings and break dance swings installed on the banks of Ganga as special attractions in the fair have become a topic of discussion among the people. Devotees already seem excited about these swings. Apart from this, Mickey Mouse and other types of swings will also attract the children and youth coming to the fair.
Shops and cleaning work continues
To enhance the beauty of the fair, decoration of shops has also started. Women can be seen especially in cosmetics shops, while shops selling toys and other attractions for children continue to be decorated.
Leveling and cleaning of ghats
The work of leveling the ghats on the banks of Ganga is going on on a large scale by the Municipality. The rough roads between and around both the bridges are being leveled with JCB machines, so that the devotees do not face any problem while bathing in the Ganga. Municipal President Kaumudi Pandey and Sandeep Pandey also inspected this work.
Along with this, a cleanliness campaign has been launched from Mishra Colony to Namami Gange Ghat, so that there is no inconvenience during the fair.
Strong security arrangements
The police administration has also taken steps regarding the security arrangements of the fair. Divers have been deployed for security and the police force has been put on alert in the entire area. It is being ensured that the devotees do not face any kind of problem and they can take bath in the Ganga peacefully.
