South Korean star Kim Soo Hyun has seemingly reacted to Song Jae Rim’s death. Song Jae Rim passed away on November 12, in Seoul. Kim Soo Hyun and Song Jae Rim had worked together in Moon Embracing the Sun. Although Kim Soo Hyun has not issued a statement regarding his co-star’s death, he has mourned Song Jae Rim’s by sending a wreath to his memorial room.
For the unversed, it was previously reported that a memorial space has been set up in his honour at the Yeouido St. Mary’s Hospital Funeral Hall. His younger sister has been named as the chief mourner. In photos surfaced online, the memorial room was filled with wreaths. According to Star News, one of the wreaths was sent by Kim Soo Hyun. The report added the stars became friends on the sets of Moon Embracing the Sun. Actor So Ji-sub also sent a wreath.
It is also reported that South Korean actress Park Ha-sun also reportedly visited the family at the memorial room to offer her condolences.
About Song Jae Rim’s Death:
Song Jae Rim died on Tuesday, November 12. He was found dead in his apartment in Seoul at 12:30 PM. The police reportedly said that there is ‘no evidence of homicide or other crime.’ It has also been reported that a two-page will was discovered in his house.
Song Jae Rim made his debut in the 2009 film, Actresses. However, he shot to fame after starring in The Moon Embracing the Sun. After the success of the series, he bagged a few more shows. These include Two Weeks (2013), in which he played the role of a cold-blooded assassin. He was also seen in shows like Unkind Ladies (2015), Secret Mother (2018), I Wanna Hear Your Song (2019), Café Minamdang (2022) and more recently, My Military Valentine (2024). This year, he was also seen in Queen Woo. He was also popular courtesy his participation in We Got Married Season 4. He shared the screen with Kim So-eun.
