Syeda Hussain of the village has forcibly blocked the road by placing tin shed and bricks on the same road. SDM Harraiya had ordered Gaur police to vacate it. Based on the order, the police reached the village on Friday and cleared the road. Then Syeda Hussain’s daughter Shakru Nisha (24) and son Karam Hussain (22) both intervened and said that no attack would be diverted from the way.
When the police became active on this, the brother and sister both poured petrol and tried to commit suicide. Gaur police station sub-inspector Bhanu Pratap Yadav, constables Devendra Nishad, Archana Kushwaha and Ja Verma, present on the spot, showed promptness and caught both of them.
There was an atmosphere of panic in the village for a long time regarding the incident and a huge crowd gathered there. Inspector in-charge Gaur Ramkumar Rajbhar said that the accused Syeda Hussain and Karam Hussain have been arrested for disturbing the peace and sent to court for interfering with the police.
