Competition, haste and panic have to be avoided in journalism. Only by reading the book along with the society, lifestyle, film, cinema and theater will the journalists stand out from the crowd. Professor Dhananjay Chopra of Allahabad University has said this in Gomti Book Fair. From Dainik Bhaskar

,

Only the one who studies will survive, only he will last.

Professor Dhananjay Chopra said that times have changed very rapidly in the last few years. When things were changing, we did not imagine that the development of technology, including Artificial Intelligence, would be like this. The era of information revolution is going on since 2005. We are living in an era of half-truths. In the era of 2015, we were talking about knowledge based economy, but meanwhile the world was changing rapidly. First came Information Revolution, then Knowledge Revolution and after this Innovation Revolution came, but now these three words competition, haste and haste have joined us. This challenge has increased.

A program was organized by Dainik Bhaskar at Gomti Book Festival.

It’s been 25 years into the 21st century. We will have to work on C, Sense and Share model for news. Only then credibility will be saved. Only then will we avoid trouble. We have to fulfill the responsibility. Today, there is a competition among every person to become a journalist, but it has to be understood that a trend journalist knows what his responsibility is. But today times have changed in the era of trends and sharing. In this era, there is a need for trend journalist’s language, knowledge and authenticity. He said that understand the difference between trend mind and normal mind. A news comes that a lion died after being hit by a truck, to which the editor said, write it properly. On this, a trend journalist wrote after working hard for one and a half to two hours, ‘Vanraj died like a common man, the sympathy and depth will be clearly felt in this. We have to read, not just books, you have to read society, lifestyle, films, cinema, stage. Without studying the society, a crowd will grow. We have stopped reading the society. Whatever falls on it will survive, only that will create, only that will last and only that will be visible.

Only when there is proper training will one become a mature journalist.

Local editor of Dainik Bhaskar, Lucknow Gaurav Pandey said that in today’s time the challenge of credibility is coming. There has always been a challenge in media. In earlier times, the challenge of getting information was to keep it safe. In today’s times, maintaining memory power is a big challenge. The challenge is where do we get the content from. Everyone is a journalist in this busy life. In today’s time one should be conscious. When information comes we should doubt it. We have to find its logic. Only then will you become a journalist.

If the news is coming from somewhere, it is coming from social media. As journalists, the challenge before us is how to present our news. Print media has time. To deliver news to readers we have to get to the bottom of it. We have to understand things in the market context. Need to know about the concerned party. Only then will people’s confidence in you increase. Only if the training of journalists is proper, you will be able to become a mature journalist. If this does not happen then you will be dangerous not only for yourself but also for the society.

We have to understand what fake news is

Teacher Amit Singh said that in the era of journalism, your brain starts working differently. In this you become curious. Wherever you go, if you see what news is published in the newspaper there, then you will be able to understand the difference. You must verify where the information came from. It has different mediums. Facebook and other apps are training your brain. The culture of patience is now ending. It is happening around us. We have to understand what fake news is. We have to understand about dish information, mis information and goods information. We have to fact check the things going on on social media. The easier content creation becomes, the easier it is for fake news to spread.

At the same time, social media influencer Pankaj Prasun said that nowadays the era of sensational journalism is going on in digital media. News is being served like this. The era of share, subscription and views is going on. News is being made only on tweets. People are not even talking. The era of insensitive journalism is going on. Even the news of rape is being presented in an interesting manner. He said that we are swinging in the swing of social media. There is an ongoing conflict between the face and the filter. There is no communication at home.
